Based on recent research\, it highlights how non-traditional assessments enhance motivation\, participation\, and learning outcomes while addressing challenges and implications for teaching practices and policy. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nEduar holds a BA in English and Spanish and an MA in Teaching English and Spanish as Foreign Languages from the University of Nariño. \n\n\n\nHe currently works as a professor in the Department of Linguistics and Languages of the University of Nariño. Moreover\, he worked as an English teacher at Mariana University and CESMAG University in Pasto\, Colombia\, and has trained public school teachers in Nariño and Putumayo.
